In its second weekend out, Wonder Woman has clearly squashed any arguments its naysayers may make about its success. The film breached $200 million domestically following its record-breaking opening weekend, and Wonder Woman shows no signs of stopping. The critically acclaimed film has turned director Patty Jenkins into a household name, and fans are all too happy to shower compliments upon her. Oh, and now one Wonder Woman star is adding to that pile of good vibes.
Taking to Instagram, Said Taghmaoui shared a behind-the-scenes photo of him with Jenkins on the set of Wonder Woman. The actor, who plays Sameer, posted the picture to thank the director for her vision regarding the feature.
"I'm really blessed to had a chance to work with these amazing director..! Thank you," Taghmaoui wrote.
The picture, which can be seen below, shows the pair hugging it out. Taghmaoui is dressed in Sameer's uniform while Jenkins stands opposite in glasses and jeans. The quaint photo is just one example of how much the Wonder Woman cast gravitated towards Jenkins.
Before the film came out, Gal Gadot shared her Wonder Woman love for Jenkins over on Facebook. The actress posted a picture of the two together and captioned it by writing, "God damn, the love I have for this woman...You are my soul sister, the best partner to the unique."
Gadot has since taken time to reiterate her thanks, but this time the star wanted to praise fans. The actress shared a short video of her addressing fans and crediting them for the movie's undeniable success.
"Hey you guys. It's me, It's Gal. I just want to take a moment and thank you; Thank you for making the most amazing weekend and craziest weekend I've ever had in my life," Gadot gushed.
"I mean, you made this movie what it is. Your love and support for this character and for myself are not to be taken for granted. I mean, Wonder Woman [is] the number one movie in the whole world. This is all you. So, a big thank you. I am sending you guys all the love and good energy back."

Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
