Right now, Justice League is undergoing reshoots over in the UK, and Joss Whedon is the man overseeing post-production. Earlier this year, director Zack Snyder had to exit the film to be with loved ones following the death of his daughter Autmn. When it comes to Whedon, the director has worked with Elfman in the past as the composer did the score for Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron. The composer was brought on to add to music previously written by Tyler Bates.
In the past, Snyder has worked closely with Junkie XL on the film. In the past, Holkenborg worked to score Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice as well as Mad Max: Fury Road and Deadpool. Sources now say Snyder's associate will be moving onto Tomb Raider.
Aside from Avengers, Elfman boasts an impressive resume with superhero films. In the past, the musicians has worked with Tim Burton and worked on Batman and Batman Returns. Elfman also worked with Sam Raimi on Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 under Sony Pictures.
In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, based on a story by Snyder and Terrio, and stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, Willem Dafoe, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
