The premiere date for Justice League is just a few months away, but work on the feature is still ongoing. The film’s principal photography wrapped awhile back, but post-production reshoots recently kicked off over in London. So far, fans have gotten a few looks at the film’s resumed production thanks to set photos. And, now, one lucky fan has confirmed Aquaman and Cyborg are on the scene.
Over on Reddit, netizens discovered both Jason Momoa and Ray Fisher have arrived in the UK for reshoots. A fan was able to snap a picture with the buff pair at a restaurant. Momoa can be seen sporting some facial hair as Fisher smiles next to his co-star. There is no word on where the image was taken in London, but the pair’s arrival seems to confirm the entire Justice League is assembling abroad.
Earlier this week, Henry Cavill was spotted in England after a video of himself saving a turtle went viral. Ben Affleck is also reportedly lying low in the UK as reshoots take place in Bedfordshire, England.
Throughout the week, set photos of the Justice League reshoots have made their way online. Up-close images of Gotham landmarks were shared on social media earlier today. A few days ago, faraway pictures of the set showed a hangar-typed building being erected on the film’s set. The set piece bore the logo of the Knights Templar, a symbol with rich history. The symbol was used often by the German army during the early 1900s, and fans have wondered whether that timeframe means the reshoots may focus on some of Wonder Woman’s past.
So far, there are no reasons to believe there will be any one-on-one reshoots of just Aquaman and Cyborg, but the possibility is there. With most of the Justice League cast having been spotted about, it seems likely that Whedon is overseeing some group scenes which Snyder ordered before he exited the project.
In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, based on a story by Snyder and Terrio, and stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, Willem Dafoe, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
