Prepare for the invasion from Apokolips. A new toy has revealed the first look at Steppenwolf in the upcoming Justice League movie.
The toy is a two-pack that contains a Batman action figure and a Steppenwolf action figure. The action figure in the package is without his helmet, but the accessory is included in the pack and can be seen on Steppenwolf's head in the image on the back of the package. You can see it in the photos included in the gallery below (via Batman-News).
Steppenwolf was first hinted at in a scene that was deleted from the theatrical cut of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in which Lex Luthor examines the databanks of a Kryptonian ship. A three-dimensional image of Steppenwolf is then shown examining Mother Boxes. The scene was released online shortly after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was released into theaters and was restored in the Ultimate Edition of the film.
Steppenwolf is the uncle of Darkseid, the tyrannical ruler of Apokolips, and one of Darkseid's elite generals. It is theorized that Steppenwolf, played by Game of Thrones alum Ciarán Hinds, will lead the invasion of Earth in Justice League.
Warner Bros. is taking Justice League to Hall H at this year's Comic-Con International: San Diego. Perhaps that's where Warner Bros. will reveal the first look at Steppenwolf in live-action.

Justice League opens in theaters no November 17, 2017.
