Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins hated cutting scenes from the blockbuster film, but thanks to the deleted scenes included with the Blu-ray and DVD release next week fans will get to see an alternative version the movie's boat scene.

Released by Entertainment Weekly earlier today this different version Diana (Gal Gadot) and Steve Trevor's (Chris Pine) journey from Themyscira to England features a similarly awkward conversation about reproduction, but the alternative version has Diana getting a lot more frank about sexuality and Steve squirming a whole lot more as Diana educates him. You can check out the scene above.

In the scene, Steve is looking for food instead of setting up sleeping arrangements while Diana lets him know that at the end of her twelve volumes of treatises on bodily pleasure, Clio concluded men weren't necessary for much. The scene and its frank dialogue is made even more humorous considering that it wasn't scripted. Pine revealed that he and Gadot mostly ad-libbed their way through it.

"She has to be the straight woman, that's the hardest part," Pine said. "She's delivering lines like 'My father is Zeus' — s— that is just so ridiculous. And she has to say it with a straight face, with a certain amount of innocence and earnestness. I get to react like any human being would to hearing something as ridiculous as that. So, I had it easy."

Wonder Woman is available for digital download now. The movie will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on Tuesday, September 19th.
