The switch in director leadership on the upcoming Justice League film from Zack Snyder to Joss Whedon has given pause to fans as the styles are dramatically different between the two.

Snyder -- known more for this dark colorization and storytelling -- is a stark contrast to the more light-hearted, feminine-focused film making of Whedon. Now that the former has passed the lead to the latter, Cyborg actor Ray Fisher has spoken out to let fans know everything is going to work out just fine.

"While it's a different directing style, the fact that Zack had handed the reigns to him is, like, 'You just have to trust the process.' While there wasn't a lot of time to build that rapport that you would normally have with a director, at the end of the day, it's about making sure that the fans have the best possible experience that we can possibly give them," Fisher told Geek Magazine. "So for all the rumor mill stuff, listen. I think there's a lot of needless negativity that I'm personally dedicating myself not to become a part of."

Justice League is set to hit theaters on November 17, 2017 and the expectations are high as it currently has a 4.18 out of 5 ComicBook.com User Anticipation rating making it the second most anticipated upcoming comic book movie among ComicBook.com readers.

Following the mixed reaction of Suicide Squad and then unquestioned success of Wonder Woman the DCEU seemed to make the shift towards the lighter tone with Whedon. It is something that Fisher seemed to gloss over in the comparison of styles.

"They're two very different people, but at the end of the day, they're two very different people who basically want the same thing, and that's to tell the best possible story for these characters and get them launched off into a really great direction," he said. "So what I think Joss has come in and done is that he's found really good ways to bond the team, he's found good ways to bond them organically, so it sets them up to go really anywhere in the future."
