As work moves forward on the upcoming Shazam! movie, director David F. Sandberg took to social media to document the last day in the Los Angeles office and leave it to Black Adam to ruin everything.

In a clip posted to his Instagram account on Friday, Sandberg gave fans one final look at infamous wall of empty Coke Zero cans. However, even with Shazam and other heroes standing guard in front of the wall, all good things come to an end and Black Adam showed up to make sure that happened. Check out the clip below.

Day 49. Last day at LA office.

As seen in the clip, someone off camera calls out "Shazam!" before Black Adam -- or at least the action figure version of him -- comes flying right into the cans, knocking them, and some of the heroes, down. The clip is a fitting end to the director's time in the Los Angeles office. During the film's pre-production phase, Sandberg has frequently shared photos to his Instagram giving lighthearted and sometimes downright funny looks at how progress on the film is coming. The updates began with a photo of a single empty soda can, soon growing to the impressive wall that Black Adam smashed.

Humorous updates and epic walls of soda can empties aside, there has been significant progress on Shazam! in the last few weeks. While Black Adam is unlikely to appear in the film, there has been plenty of casting news to get fans excited. Last week, Variety reported that Annabelle: Creation actress Grace Fulton was in negotiations to join the cast of the upcoming film, potentially in the role of one of Billy Batson's friends, Mary Marvel. As for the titular role of Shazam, Zachary Levi was recently cast, sparking a positive reaction from fans. Levi himself has expressed excitement about being part of the film with the actor already working out to get in shape to play the DC Comics hero.

Now that things are moving out of the office and towards production, hopefully Sandberg will continue sharing update with fans about the progress of the film. After all, fans do have a little bit of a wait before getting to see Shazam! hit the big screen. The film isn't expected to be released until April 2019.
