Batman may not be the technological marvel that Cyborg is in Justice League, but he definitely has the best vehicles and a really great costume. Now, fans can get a closer look at Batman's rides and his suit.
At a London junket this weekend, ComicBook.com's Brandon Davis got to get a detailed look at both Batman's costume and at the details of his incredible vehicles in the upcoming Justice League including the Flying Fox. Both the suit and the high-tech designs for the Flying Fox are on display in a dark recreation of Bruce Wayne's Batcave. He even has a wall of Batarangs ready for use, just in case.
As you can see from the photos in the gallery, Batman's suit is black on black and suitably intimidating for Gotham's protector. However, what's truly interesting in the display are the screens in the back of the room. They appear to display detailed information about Batman's vehicles, specifically the Flying Fox. The screens appear to provide information about the aircraft's engine functions, valuable information to have on transport vehicle, especially when the heroes need it to face off with Steppenwolf and his Parademons when they come to Earth in search of Apokoliptian Mother Boxes.
While the information screens seem very straightforward about Batman’s latest vehicle, don't let the simplicity of the display fool you. According to production designer Patrick Tatopoulos, the Flying Fox is a complex, three-level aircraft designed to do more than just get the heroes from point a to point b. In addition to a cargo area large enough to transport the Batmobile, the Flying Fox also boasts a middle level that's something of a flying Batcave itself, providing Batman and the rest of the heroes with all of the technological tools they may need when it comes time to battle.
And it’s not just the capabilities that will be on display in the upcoming Justice League. Tatopoulos said that the Flying Fox may have more tricks and features than meets the eye – for now.
Justice League currently enjoys a 4.16 out of 5 on ComicBook.com's anticipation rankings, which you can vote on here.
Justice League hits theaters on November 17.
