'Justice League' "We Need Flash" TV Spot Released

The latest promos for the long-awaited team up movie featuring DC's most popular superheroes have shined the spotlight on each individual member.

The Fastest Man Alive finally gets his spotlight in Justice League, shedding some insight into Barry Allen's personal problems in this new television spot.

The clip begins with Barry (Ezra Miller) meeting his father Henry (Billy Crudup) in prison, who is locked up for reasons we don't know at this point. If it's anything like the comics, the character has been framed for the murder of Barry's mother.

"I want you to listen to me, Barry," Henry says to his son. "You can be whatever you wanna be. You're the absolute best of the best."

The footage cuts between some intense action scenes with the Flash running at high speed, showing why he is such an integral member to the Justice League.

Though it isn't packed with the humor we've come to expect in the marketing when it pertains to the Flash, it does add more background to his character. We know at this point that the Flash is a loner, and the tragedy of his personal life seems to indicate that his sense of humor could be a coping mechanism as he deals with the loss of both of his parents.

Joining the team actually makes sense for the Flash, revealing why he's so eager to join a group of heroes for a greater sense of purpose.

According to Miller, Barry doesn't actually have a superhero name like his allies.

"Barry is just Barry." Miller said to WSVN-TV. "There's even a scene that was cut from the movie, where he's going on and on and on [about it]."

The actor seemed understanding as to why the scene was ultimately cut from the film, but he offered a further description for those who feel they're missing out.

"'Why was that scene cut from the movie?'" Miller joked. "But yeah, he's going on and on trying to figure out who he should be and what he should call himself. So yeah, he doesn't have a superhero name yet."

Though he doesn't have a codename yet, we'll still get to see Barry act like a superhero when Justice League premieres in theaters November 17.
