The Flash aired its latest midseason finale tonight, and gave fans one hell of an ending.
Spoilers for tonight's midseason finale of The Flash, "Don't Run", below!
Tonight's episode saw Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) being kidnapped by Clifford DeVoe/The Thinker (Neil Sandilands), who was prepared to teach him a unique lesson. After roughing Barry up a bit, he dropped him back to safety with Team Flash - but things weren't as they appeared.
Dominic Lanse/Brainstorm (Kendrick Sampson) quickly called Barry, and revealed that he was actually DeVoe. Apparently, DeVoe had sort of "plugged in" to Lanse's body, being able to transport his consciousness from his original dying host to a new, younger one.
Obviously, this creates some problems as the show goes into the second portion of its season. And as you'd expect, it caused quite a reaction amongst the show's fanbase. Here are some of our favorite tweets.
