Justice League Actor Says DCEU Is Still Stable, Cyborg On Track

While Wonder Woman and Justice League are moving full steam ahead, DC's Batman and Flash projects have been all over the map, each receiving numerous shifts in directors and cast. Ray Fisher wants to let everyone know though that another one of those future projects is right on track.
That would be his solo Cyborg film, which currently has a 2020 release date. Fisher made an appearance at the City of Heroes convention over the weekend where he confirmed that the project is still in the works and has been unaffected by the other issues in the DCEU. Ironically Cyborg has been mentioned in the same breath as The Flash, as Cyborg is supposed to play a substantial part in Flash's solo movie. Now that the film has lost its second director (looking for its third at the moment) it remains to be seen if that is still the case. The current rumor is that Robert Zemeckis is in talks to direct. Regardless of what happens there, the good news is that Cyborg seems to be unaffected.
Cyborg will make his full debut in the upcoming Justice League, which currently holds a 4.14 out of 5 on ComicBook.com's anticipation rankings. You can find the full synopsis for the film below.

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, and features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck (Batman), Henry Cavill (Superman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Ezra Miller (The Flash), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Ray Fisher (Cyborg), Ciarán Hinds (Steppenwolf), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth), J.K. Simmons (Commissioner Gordon), Amber Heard (Mera), Kiersey Clemons (Iris West) and Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor).
The DCEU continues when Wonder Woman opens in theaters on June 2, 2017, followed by Justice League on November 17, 2017; Aquaman on July 27, 2018; Shazam on April 5, 2019; Justice League 2 on June 14, 2019; Cyborg on April 3, 2020; and Green Lantern Corps on July 24, 2020. The Flash, The Batman, Dark Universe and Man of Steel 2 are currently without a release dates.
