Arrow's Rick Gonzalez Reveals His Hopes For Wild Dog In Season 6

Wild Dog has come a long way during his short time on Arrow, but Season Six offers the character some truly intriguing possibilities.
Wild Dog actor Rick Gonzalez sat down with ComicBook.com's Jim Viscardi at San Diego Comic-Con to talk about what's in store for Rene Ramirez this season, and what he hopes to see for his character.
What I'm hopeful for is the trajectory of what was established in five in terms of my character and hopefully seeing payoffs and establishing it more in a stronger way. Because we've all established Renee as a father, someone who lost things tragically, so if he's a father then maybe he can be a dad again, ya know. Maybe he can be whole again as a person because this team is saving his life, so I can hope for that and that's what I'm hoping to see for him.
Granted, this is all going with the notion that Ramirez survives the explosive events of the Season Five finale, but it certainly seems he will have some sort of future in Season Six. Ramirez has certainly grown a great deal over the course of last season, and seeing him once again embrace fatherhood would certainly be a lovely way to expand his character arc.

After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the North China Sea. He returned home to Star City, bent on righting the wrongs done by his family and fighting injustice. Oliver has finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team only to have it threatened when unexpected enemies from his past return to Star City, forcing Oliver to rethink his relationship with each member of his "family".
Based on the characters from DC, ARROW is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti (The Flash, Supergirl), Marc Guggenheim (DC's Legends of Tomorrow, Eli Stone), Wendy Mericle (Desperate Housewives, Eli Stone), Andrew Kreisberg (The Flash, Eli Stone, Warehouse 13) and Sarah Schechter (The Flash, DC's Legends of Tomorrow).
Supergirl premieres on Monday, October 9th at 8 pm, while The Flash debuts on Tuesday, October 10 at 8 pm. Legends of Tomorrow moves to Tuesdays this Fall, airing right after The Flash on October 10. On Thursday, October 12 at 9 pm Arrow will premiere to round out the DC roster.
