A lot of creative types have been posted videos from Grand Theft Auto V, creating everything from a Back To the Future-style run through the city to a ridiculous Rick and Morty video. But leave it to Russian creative team Kramer's Media to take the cake, recreating one of the most iconic action movies in history through the game.

Yep, the team actually took the time to recreate the 1991 sequel Terminator 2: Judgment Day, covering most of the film's events in just over an hour's time. While it's not an exact recreation of James Cameron's sequel, it's pretty damn close, and some sequences, like the T-1000 barreling after young John Connor in an L.A. spillway, look magnificent with the footage.

The title sequence kicks in first, but soon after, we start to get an exact recreation of some scenes from the film, complete with the original audio from the movie – including Brad Fiedel's score. Granted, there's a lot of Russian being spoken, but you can kind of hear some of the film's dialogue as well, so you're not completely in the dark.

Some character models look different – Arnold has a more distinctive look closer to GTA's traditional characters, and John Connor looks a bit closer to Nathan Drake. But let's be honest, this is damn impressive stuff, and makes for some good Sunday viewing…even if young John Connor's eyes don't exactly look right. (Hey, if you were being chased by a near-invincible, shape-shifting robot, you'd probably have a deal look to you as well.)

You can check out Kramer's Media's channel here, and watch the video above to see the Terminator in action. Again, it's not the complete film, but it makes you wonder what kind of cinematic territory the team could cover next. Perhaps The Matrix? Or, hey, we'd be down to seeing some of The Rock in action, provided it'd have to figure out a fill-in to San Francisco territory. One way or another, we have faith the team can get the job done. We can't wait to see what's next.

Oh, and hasta la vista, baby. Had to say it.
