Sledgehammer Games Has Big Call of Duty: WWII Plans For E3 2017

We're just a few weeks away from this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles, and game companies are already planning for big things over the course of the three-day event. Sledgehammer Games, the developers of the forthcoming Call of Duty: WWII, are no exception, as the team will be doing a lot once the big show kicks off.

First off, along with the already expected multiplayer set-up that will be at Activision's booth during the event (alongside Destiny 2 and whatever else the company brings to the show), Sledgehammer will be hosting a special panel during the E3 Coliseum event, which is taking place right down the street at the Novo Theater in Los Angeles.

The official E3 Twitter account noted, "At @E3 2017, join @SHGames live at #E3Coliseum for a behind the scenes look at @callofduty WWII. #CODWWII".

During the panel, Sledgehammer won't just talk about the single player campaign. It's also expected to provide a number of details as to what to expect from the game's multiplayer side of things, which should excite a number of players looking to get back into the game's "boots to the ground" sort of set-up.

But there's even more beyond that, as Sledgehammer Games noted on its Twitter account that it intends to host a number of giveaways over the course of the event. It hasn't noted specifically what it intends to give away just yet, but it could be anything from shirts to other promotional items. For that matter, we may even get some pre-order codes as well, but that's yet to be finalized.

The company also stated that it will disclose more of its E3 2017 plans in the weeks ahead, on its official blog page. "Keep an eye out for our 'Road to E3" blog dropping on 5/24!" it noted. We'll have full details from that blog post as soon as it goes live.

It looks like Call of Duty: WWII will have some major presence at this year's event, and we can't wait to see what the team has to offer!
