We've already seen a few hints that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered would be getting a separate release from its Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition package over the past few months. But now we've gotten a really big hint that the game is coming our way next month.

According to the listing over at Amazon Japan (the listing has since been taken down), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will release on June 20th, 2017 for around 7,776 yen. In addition, a version has also been revealed for the Xbox One, but set to arrive 30 days later on July 20th.

This could indicate that Activision will reveal the game very soon, possibly during Sony's E3 press conference, where it could announce its separate release just one week following the show, with 30 day exclusive availability on the PlayStation 4 platform, followed by a release on Xbox One and PC.

For now, the game remains an exclusive item in the Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition, but it seems that Activision may have listened to its fans this time around, who have been wanting to get this release outside of having to purchase a game they probably wouldn't play, at least according to feedback.

The publisher still hasn't said anything about the release just yet, but considering all the hints – and the fact that the Electronic Entertainment Expo is just a couple of weeks away – we're likely to get official confirmation any day now. But the question is, what will the final price point be. After all, the game is included with an $80 package, so more than likely it would probably sell for just $20 by itself. That's not final, though, and Activision could easily host a sale to introduce it to the masses, in an effort to get people excited about its forthcoming Call of Duty stuff.

We'll let you know once the company makes the official announcement, complete with when you'll be able to buy it separately. In the meantime, if you really can't wait, you can get Modern Warfare Remastered now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC with the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition. (That is, if you really can't wait…)
