The biggest streaming event of the year is coming our way in just a few months, and now you can snag official tickets for it!
Twitch has confirmed today that TwitchCon 2017 are officially on sale, ahead of the event that will take place from October 20th through the 22nd at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center. The event will be a who’s who of streaming superstars, as well as a variety of game companies and competitions that will test out even the best skills of some of the world’s best gamers.
Fans can snag an early bird pass for the three-day event for $159, which also includes access to the post-convention party which will take place on the 22nd. Guests for the party haven’t been detailed yet, but more information is expected over the next few months.
If you prefer, you can also buy Friday and Sunday only tickets for $89, or a Saturday only pass for $109. Purchasing them on-site during the event will run you an additional $20, so it helps to pick them up beforehand.
After the early bird special, three-day passes will go up to $179, so you’d best jump on that deal while you get a chance.
In addition, those that are interested in contributing to the Talent Show that will take place during the event can learn more about it over on the Twitch blog. “Last year’s inaugural show was a tremendous showcase for the Twitch community, and we want this year’s to be even better. So, get those dancing/singing/magic/comedy/basket weaving shoes on and show the world what you can do. We’ve done away with categorical restrictions this year and the showcase is open for anyone who has regularly streamed to creative on Twitch. Chosen performers will take the stage at TwitchCon and will also receive a badge for admission to the show and a stipend for the trip. Not too shabby!”
So, if you’re looking to showcase your streaming skills – or just want to get together with other members of the Twitch community – this is definitely the event for you.
