It's hard to believe that a lot of players have been indulging in the fast-paced Heroes of the Storm for two years now. But considering that it's an anniversary, Blizzard isn't about to let the occasion pass over without a party.

Thus, the company has announced that it will be hosting an anniversary event for its fans, happening between May 30th and June 12th. During that time, all you need to do is log in, and you could earn a number of sweet rewards for your character!

By playing in at least one game in versus, AI, Quick Match, Unranked or Ranked per day, you'll be able to earn a Common Loot Chest for your trouble. But if you go even further and play through three games in versus, AI, Quick Match, Unranked or Ranked, you'll be able to earn a number of rewards, including an Anniversary Portrait, an Anniversary Spray and an Anniversary Banner, as pictured above! (Blizzard has made note that these items will be available exclusively through the event, and won't be available from forthcoming Loot Chests or through Shard crafting.)

On June 5th, the company will also be hosting a special Heroes of the Storm streaming event, starting at 10 AM PDT, on Blizzard's Twitch channel. Throughout this event, it'll be giving away a number of goodies, as well as hosting special guests and taking part in a variety of tournaments.\

Finally, you can give a listen to the full Heroes soundtrack on iTunes, Spotify and other services, in case you feel like taking the battle music with you! You can also give it a listen on YouTube here!

"Thank you for joining us for these fantastic years!" Blizzard noted in a recent blog post. "Here's to many more in the Nexus!"

Hopefully, we'll see some additions down the road, like the ones we've seen most recently, with new Heroes being introduced to the roster, as well as some familiar terrain to battle in. Considering the crossover potential with other Blizzard brands (we're looking at you, Overwatch), the possibilities are certainly endless.

Congrats to Blizzard on reaching the two year anniversary, and here's looking forward to many more – even if that means the demise of so many soldiers on the battlefield. Hey, they knew what they were getting into.

Heroes of the Storm is available now for PC.
