Shadow Of The Colossus Officially Getting The HD Treatment On PS4

Earlier today, we reported on the rumor that Team Ico's Shadow of the Colossus could be in for some kind of comeback on the PlayStation 4. Of course, we assumed that we would just be getting a PS2-to-PS4 port, like we've seen with other games. But, nope, we're getting a freakin' HD transfer of the original game!

Sony showcased Shadow of the Colossus HD earlier tonight during its PlayStation press conference, and while it was only a brief snippet of footage from the game, it looks mesmerizing thus far, moving just like the original game did, but with amazing high-definition textures that give the game a whole new level of polish.

You can check out the trailer for the game shortly, but this is no doubt good news for fans that actually wanted to see Shadow of the Colossus in a whole new light.

Look for the game in early 2018 on PlayStation 4.
