Even though all of Sony's big news is happening this week during the Electronic Entertainment Expo, the company is already planning ahead for its own expo, which will take place later this year.

The PlayStation Experience will return for its fourth year on December 9th and 10th, 2017, and will once again take place in Anaheim, California – the same place that last year's show was held. It appears that Sony has taken a liking to the Anaheim Convention Center, and we definitely don't blame them. I mean, Disneyland is right there.

The company originally held the event in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2014, before shifting gears and taking it to San Francisco in 2015. Now, it appears that it's calling Anaheim home, and is already making plans of what to reveal at the show.

God of War and Spider-Man are expected to take center stage at the event, since they're both releases that are coming our way in 2018. However, we could also see a little bit more of The Last of Us Part II, since that's where the game was initially unveiled during PlayStation Experience 2016. That's just a guess, though. We'll also see a number of AAA titles revealed from Sony and third-party companies, as well as a variety of indie titles that will be released over the next year.

Last year's PlayStation Experience was a blast, starting with the showcase that opened the event, and then leading into two days of games, including the likes of Horizon: Zero Dawn, The Last Guardian (even with its recent release at the time) and MLB The Show 17. This year's show will definitely be even more stacked, and may also be home to another Capcom tournament, just as last year was for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, which had just released for PlayStation 4 during that week.

We'll let you know whatever plans Sony has lined up for the show as soon as they're announced, but, for now, the company is enjoying its exposure at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, and the games that are coming in the months ahead.
