If you've been itching to play some Wild Guns – and you're not too crazy about paying $200+ for a Super Nintendo copy – we've got some good news for you.

Natsume has announced that it has released Wild Guns Reloaded on PC through Steam. This follows the game's previous release on PlayStation 4 late last year, reviving an old-school SNES favorite for new audiences to enjoy – without forcing them to pay an arm and a leg.

The game originally released for that platform in 1994, and became a cult classic, to the point that it gained high demand on the eBay front. But Reloaded offers up all the thrills of that game at a bargain price, with 16-bit style visuals and sound, and plenty of fun shooting gameplay action.

The game brings back the two main characters from the original – Annie and Clint – but also introduces two new faces into the fold, a dog named Bullet and a heavily armed woman named Doris. Each character has a distinctive play style that suits them well, which is useful considering that every human and robot enemy is gunning for them.

The game features eight different stages, with three different areas in each one that players need to get through in order to survive. It's co-op supported, so don't be afraid to invite a friend to come along for the ride!

Hiro Maekawa, president and CEO of Natsume, noted on the release, "The PlayStation 4 version of Wild Guns Reloaded was so well-received critically last year, we are excited to see how PC gamers react to it on Steam. The title offers fast-paced fun in either a single player or local co-op game, complete with online rankings, classic and new stages, new bosses, enemies and more!"

The game normally sells for $19.99, but in its debut week on Steam, it's marked down in price, so you can get it for $14.99. Yep, you can score even more of a bargain and save some cash for food or other games, or whatever you fancy.

We enjoyed Wild Guns Reloaded when it debuted last year, and recommend checking it out, especially if you're all about old-school shoot-em-ups!
