Microsoft's Xbox One backward compatibility program continued to grow this week with the addition of four key titles, bringing the count of available games to just under 400 – and the program isn't done yet.

First up is Costume Quest 2, the long-awaited sequel from Double Fine Productions. In this game, you'll venture around Halloween with a number of fellow characters, completing quests and taking care of ghouls that stand in your way. If you're a fan of the original, you should consider this a must-play.

Next up is the multiplayer first person shooter Frontlines: Fuel of War. Released by THQ a few years back for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, this game has you battling against rival teams in the hopes of controlling the world's oil supply. It features a great deal of frantic action, and, as far as we understand, the servers should still be live, so it'll make for a fun multiplayer romp.

Following that is Quantum Conundrum, a first-person puzzle game from the designer of the classic game Portal. In it, you'll work your way through a wacky house filled with traps and pratfalls, using a number of special scientific abilities to get through each one. If you're a fan of puzzle games, or just really like the direction that Portal took with its creation, then you're going to love this game.

Finally, and probably most noteworthy, there's Virtua Fighter 2, Sega's classic arcade game. Originally released for the Sega Saturn, this is a port of that game, released originally on the Xbox 360. It features sharp arcade-style visuals, as well as physics-based fighting that's as real as it gets. It also has a diverse cast of characters, including the fighting drunk Shun Di, the classic Sarah Bryant, and, of course, the ass-kicking Akira.

All four games are available for purchase through the Xbox Live Marketplace, with different prices. Most of them can probably be found around $9.99 to $19.99, so they won't set you back too much.

No word yet if more games will be joining the program this week, but there should be more than enough to tide you over for the time being.
