If you're at all into indie games or RPGs, you're probably well-acquainted with the work of Supergiant Games, the team behind acclaimed games like Bastion and Transistor. Their latest game, Pyre, is set to release soon and Supergiant have released a launch trailer and PlayStation 4 Pro details to get fans properly hyped.

The Pyre launch trailer, which you can check out above, provides a good look at the game's characters and gameplay. For those who haven't been following the game, Pyre is an action-RPG featuring combat that feels like it's been ripped from a sports title. Battles take place in arenas where teams of three compete to destroy their opponent's pyre (a large column of magical flame). It's a rather quirky concept, but given Supergiant's track record, chances are it will be a lot of fun to play.

Meanwhile, here are the extra features you can expect on PS4 Pro:

Enhanced for PlayStation 4 Pro: We're very pleased to reveal is that Pyre runs natively in 4K on PS4 Pro, which is a first for us. You'll experience the game running at an ever-glorious 60 frames per second, in that absurdly high resolution that you have to see running on a 4K display to truly appreciate.

Supergiant is also promising a hefty collection of PlayStation Trophies, over 50 in total, which is way more than their past titles. Seems like there will be a lot of room to perfect and polish your game in Pyre.

Like what you're seeing and hearing? Well, if you pre-order Pyre, you'll get 10 percent off its $20 dollar asking price. Not a huge discount, but worth snapping up if you plan to buy the game anyways.

Pyre hits PC and PS4 on July 25.
