If you weren't able to attend Pokemon Go Fest, you might've been disappointed when you weren't able to find a ticket or get time off to fly out to Chicago for the event. Should you still be harboring any frustrations about missing out on the first Pokemon Go live event and have only heard bits and pieces about how disastrous the outcome was, this video from bobvids should help clear that up and leave you in a much better mood.

Of course, the video may just as well shift your disappointment over to the Pokemon community that was present during the event. The video is full of jeers, snarky comments, and even outbursts such as throwing debris at the event hosts, and plenty of players have already called out the festival attendees for their actions that they say paint a bad picture for the game's playerbase. But with how tragic Pokemon Go Fest was, this video is a recap that you just can't seem to avert your eyes from, no matter how painful it may be to watch.

One of the first things you'll notice is how large the crowds are in Chicago. There were tons of people there – so many, in fact, that the hosts even commented on how the sheer number of people was leading to connection issues that prevented players from even playing the game – and the loudest ones were booing. Niantic CEO John Hanke, event hosts, even interview subjects weren't safe from jabs at the way that the festival was being handled.

At times, chants from the crows of "we can't play" even drowned out the event hosts as they attempted to talk about the game. Players being asked what their favorite Pokemon they'd seen was were scooped by people passing by who exclaimed that there was no way of knowing since they couldn't connect to see any.

But if there's any shining light in this video, it's how well the hosts kept themselves together throughout the event. From Hanke staying out to speak with fans to other hosts doing their best to trudge through the jeers, the hosts did their absolute best to pacify crowds and maintain enthusiasm through an otherwise flop of an event.
