Here's a cross-over we could have never predicted! The worlds of Forza Horizon 3 and Final Fantasy XV are about to collide in an unexpected way. We wish, more than anything, that we could tell you that a line of Chocobos, but that isn't the case. Instead, we're getting the incredibly sleek royal chariot that Noctis and his friends get to cruise around in: The Regalia. Check out the announcement trailer above to see this luxurious cruiser in action.

"In the world of Eos, the Regalia is actually an unofficial character in the party and the primary source of transportation for main character Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum and his buddies Ignis, Gladiolus, and Prompto. If you haven't played FINAL FANTASY XV, you do actually drive the Regalia on and off-road, you're even able to jump it in the open-world setting. Now is your chance to experience the luxurious Regalia in a world built for driving without having to battle beasts or complete quests."

So here's the deal. Starting on August 1, Forza Horizon 3 players will be able to download and ride around in The Regalia. This new car will be completely free of charge. As long as you have Forza Horizon 3 or Final Fantasy XV installed on your Xbox One by August 1, The Regalia is yours. Square Enix mentioned that you can score the regalia by owning either game by August 1, but obviously the point is to use it within Forza Horizon 3, so what's the deal? The only difference here is the delivery method.

If you own Forza Horizon 3, you'll get the download code delivered to you through the in-game messaging system, and you can redeem it and access your new vehicle straight away. If you own Final Fantasy XV but now Forza Horizon 3, then you'll get The Regalia code sent to you through the Xbox Live messaging system. The code won't do you any good unless you plan on playing Horizon, though, so if you're not a racing game fan then it won't mean much to you.
