We're waiting to hear what's happening with Microsoft's Xbox One X pre-orders this week, as we've been hearing reports that they're set to kick off in just a couple of days. But for those of you worried about buying the right television to make the Xbox One X games look best, not to worry – you could be getting offered a bundle with the best of both worlds.

A fan recently asked Xbox head Phil Spencer on Twitter if we would be seeing any kind of bundles surrounding both the forthcoming console and the proper 4K HDR tv. They asked, "Any plans to bundle a 4k HDR tv with a Xbox One X? I'm sure there's a manufacturer that would be willing to collaborate with Xbox."

Spencer replied, "Yea, you've seen some of these with S and I'm sure you'll see some with X."

So the question is, who will step up? Obviously, Sony is out, since it's focusing on televisions that will make the most of the PlayStation 4 consoles, namely the PlayStation 4 Pro. But it sounds like Toshiba, Samsung, LG and other television makers would certainly be game in offering some sort of deal that throws an Xbox One X into the mix.

Plus, retailers are probably frothing at the mouth over the possibilities of bundling together a TV and an Xbox One X unofficially, especially considering how well Black Friday deals do for them. We could very well see some special deals offered in late November that offer a television, an Xbox One X and a couple of games with a couple of hundred dollars shaved off the price, just to make it that much more alluring of a deal.

We'll see what Microsoft has planned in the months ahead, but hopefully, if pre-orders do kick off this week, we'll be able to tell just what kind of anticipation is going into Microsoft's system, as there have been mixed feelings about whether gamers will pick it up or not. It was kind of the same way with PlayStation 4 Pro, so we'll see.

The Xbox One X arrives on store shelves November 7th for $499.
