League of Legends' Azir still has changes coming in the future to the ruler of Shurima, and a Rioter recently commented on when players could expect Azir to be looked at.

While Azir has been confirmed for a small-scale rework in the past – not quite on the level of Urgot or Warwick – but still changes that'll help him adopt a healthier gameplay that fits his unique style. The Shurima Shuffle was one iconic move that might be changed, if not removed entirely, with the update, but those updates won't come for a few more patches.

"We're actually targeting 7.19 for Azir, but that comes with some assumptions so take that as a 'you may see the Azir update in 7.19, but not guaranteed,'" Riot Asyrite said in a reply to a related question on the League boards.

The question asked by a League player commented on the fact that Azir had been mentioned for an eventual update in July's Champion Roadmap, but as of now, he's not yet included on the Champion Update Schedule among the likes of Xin Zhao, Evelynn, Swain, and Aatrox, scheduled in that order as of now.

In addition to Azir, LeBlanc is also nowhere to be found on the update schedule, another champion that's had changes discussed recently. LeBlanc's proven to be a nightmare in the past when it comes to balancing, and with her next update, the balance team hopes to find a suitable spot for the mage.

"For LeBlanc we're still in iteration with no specific patch target yet," Asyrite confirmed. "We want to make sure this isn't just another LB update, we want it to the one we're happy and able to support going forward."

Players in the comments suggested reverting LeBlanc to her previous Patch 6.21 state with some nerfs to certain abilities, but even that was a point of debate between players, proving how difficult it must be to find a healthy spot for LeBlanc.

Regardless of the changes, it'll still be a while before we see any definite buffs or nerfs shipping. With Patch 7.17 coming next and an atypical three-week gap between the next one and Patch 7.18, there's plenty of time to figure out a spot for Azir and LeBlanc.
