2K Hosting A Special Bioshock Anniversary Party At PAX West

Bioshock is celebrating its tenth anniversary this week, and, man, what a journey it's been. But for those of you that are attending PAX West next week, you'll be able to partake in a special celebration.

2K has announced that it has partnered with IGN to host a special Bioshock 10th Anniversary: Return To Rapture party, which will take place on Saturday, September 2nd, starting at 9:00 PM, to be held at the Great Hall at Union Station. The party will bring Rapture to life, with a "night of themed food and drinks, live music from killer DJ Krista Childs, real-life Splicers (yeah!), Big Daddy and Little Sister statues, incredible photo moments and much more.

The party will also be the place for a special Bioshock Cosplay Contest hosted by IGN presenters, where top-dressed fans can win some awesome prizes.

PAX West passes aren't required to attend the party, but you'd better hurry when it comes to registering, as it's likely to reach capacity very quickly. Attendance is free, and those who dress up in cosplay will receive "expedited entrance" to the party.

"Would you kindly join us in celebrating this milestone with the best fans and community Bioshock could ask for?" Well, how can we say no to that?

Bioshock is available now as part of Bioshock: The Collection for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. You can also get the original for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
