People who have been pre-ordering Call of Duty: WWII over the last few months have been getting some noticeable goodies with their purchases, including physical hats from GameStop and a bonus character pack for use in multiplayer. But now the developers at Sledgehammer Games are really getting into the nitty-gritty, making an offer that fans of the series' signature multiplayer won't want to miss.

The company has announced that it is offering a new Multiplayer Upgrade to all of those that pre-order the game, regardless of platform choice. With it, players will be able to permanently unlock a single weapon that's included in the game. There are a number to choose from, so it doesn't hurt to pick carefully and find the one that's best suited for you.

On top of that, a double XP bonus will be awarded with the Multiplayer Upgrade. However, keep in mind that Sledgehammer Games hasn't disclosed just how long the boost is supposed to last. And it will likely be temporary, as having it made available permanently kind of shuts out other players in the process.

The game has already gotten a number of great bonuses for those that pre-order. Alongside the Multiplayer Upgrade, fans who purchase the game ahead of its release date get access to a special lighting-based Nazi Zombies camo; a Division's Pack with a number of new characters; and 500 additional COD points, which can be currently used in either Call of Duty: Black Ops III or Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, so you don't have to wait to collect a bounty for your purchase.

You can check out what the Multiplayer Upgrade is all about in the trailer above. Though it is on the brief side (running just under a minute), it does give a good idea of what you'll be able to select when it comes to available weapons, along with a peek at what double XP will have to offer. It may even entice you to place a pre-order…if you haven't already, that is.

Call of Duty: WWII will release on November 3rd for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
