Bethesda has been having a field day with the ad campaign for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, sticking it to Nazis at every turn by telling them that they're taking America back. It's been met with some controversy, but fans as a whole have been enjoying the campaign – and it's not even close to done yet.

Bethesda has posted a new ad on the official Wolfenstein Twitter account, and it keeps the message plain and simple: "If you are a Nazi, GTFO." And in-between the text, it shows an image of a Nazi soldier getting punched in the face.

So far, the trailer has been making some impressive rounds on social media, with over 4,000 retweets and nearly 7,000 likes by fans. Of course, it's also been met with criticism from a select few – but overall, the response has been strongly positive.

You can see the tweet below, and we've also included a few responses from fans, including some that are just absolutely golden. Also a bit curse-laden, but, hey…

Said @hellandreason, "I don't even game and I might buy this fucking thing."

@anastas2002 added, "Do it just to piss the local pointy-headed neo-Nazis off. Buy a console or your gaming PC of choice and play it on the biggest goddamned screen you can find." They then added, "And a big fuck-all home theater system."

And for the haters that felt that the trailer was a bit too much with its anti-Nazi message, @Uber4Chocobos wrapped up the point pretty nicely:

"PSA:

Wolfenstein franchise is 35 years old

Nazis have always sucked

If you take it personally you have a problem

Love u @bethesda"

And more than likely, Bethesda will continue this push for the game, now that's just less than two weeks away from release. It's getting a lot of hype, most of it positive, and Wolfenstein will need as much oomph as it can get, going up against the likes of Super Mario Odyssey and Assassin's Creed Origins, which release on the same day. (And let's not forget the Season 2 premiere of Stranger Things, for that matter – the 27th is a busy day.)

In the meantime, enjoy the anti-Nazi message, and get ready for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus when it releases on October 27th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
