While we can't share details on Star Wars: Battlefront II’s campaign just yet, there's good news if you’ve been looking to both play the new game and pick up a PlayStation 4 system.
Sony has announced today that it will be offering special bundles for Battlefront II for both the PlayStation 4 Slim and the PlayStation 4 Pro, releasing on the market next month. And although one clearly stands out over the other, they’re both worth picking up this holiday season.
First up is a Limited Edition Star Wars: Battlefront II PlayStation 4 Pro bundle, which is likely to retail around $449, though that isn’t final yet. The bundle comes with a customized PlayStation 4 Pro 1TB system with Rebel and Imperial emblems as well as a controller to match. It also includes a physical copy of the Star Wars: Battlefront II Deluxe Edition, so you can jump right back into the action.
While not quite as spiffy as the Darth Vader bundle that Sony introduced a couple of years ago alongside the original Battlefront and Disney Infinity 3.0: Star Wars, this system still looks like quite the collector’s item for Star Wars fans. The system will be available November 14th, letting players get their Battlefront on three days early.
If you prefer, there’s also a standard Star Wars: Battlefront II PlayStation 4 slim bundle that includes a typical black system, a 1TB hard drive, a DualShock 4 controller and a copy of Star Wars: Battlefront II Standard Edition. Though obviously not as cool as the PS4 Pro bundle, this is great for those that are more on a budget. The bundle is likely to sell for $299, a bit on the cheaper side. This bundle is set to arrive on November 17th.
If you want a closer look at that PS4 Pro System, and a new bit of gameplay, you can check out the video above. Be sure to check back later this week for more on the game's story!
Star Wars: Battlefront II releases on November 17th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
