A beautifully violent launch trailer for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus includes plenty of fast-paced blurs of Nazi carnage, but best of all, it's a confirmation that Hitler is in the game in some capacity.

The trailer warns you about its graphic content in the beginning, and for good reason. It combines some elements of previous trailers, such as the "German or Else" game show and the charismatically defiant rebels of the Nazi rule, but the violence in it tops any other trailer so far. Headshot after headshot blows enemy Nazis and white supremacists away, broken up by the occasional ax to the face or well-aimed grenade.

But when the violence is all over and the title rolls across the trailer, just as it looks like it's about to reach its end, a raspy cough of the Nazi leader is heard as he strolls into a room. From the brief look that we have of Hitler, he definitely appears as though he's seen better days. He appears sick, and he's wearing house shoes and a bathrobe embroidered with the Parteiadler, the Nazi symbol of an eagle sitting atop a Swastika. While he's not shown from the front, the side of his face definitely looks to show his age, but none of this stops his followers from showing their loyalty the second that he walks into the room, so it eppears he's still got what it takes to rule the Nazi party during their U.S. invasion.

Those who recall the older games might be a bit let down that Mecha Hitler wasn't shown in the trailer, but he likely won't be a boss fight in the game at all. He might be teased, but it's much more likely that he'll be saved for the next Wolfenstein game that rounds out the trilogy. After all, if you play your Mecha Hitler card before the final game, it certainly makes it difficult to top.

The launch trailer comes just over a week ahead of the launch of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, but with how frequently Bethesda's been advertising the game, we'll likely get something else before it releases on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on Oct. 27.
