So you probably heard the news already. Following the Destiny 2 weekly reset, it was quickly discovered that Bungie had thrown in Exodus Crash as the new Prestige Nightfall Strike and, surprise, the strike was still broken. This morning we posted a workaround for this bug, since no one can actually complete the Strike without it, but now it sounds like we won't need that workaround after all.

Bungie announced about an hour ago that it is swapping out the Prestige Nightfall Strike for this week. Exodus Crash is out, and Pyramidion is in! For those of you who loved the Vault of Glass in the original Destiny, this will probably be a most welcome change, even though we've played it very recently. Time to blast some Vex! The best part is, we're getting the best modifier in the game: Torrent!

The Torrent modifier basically turns your Nightfall Strike into a PvE version of mayhem clash. All of your abilities will recharge at an incredibly fast rate -- and we mean all of your abilities. Your grenade, melee, sub-class ability, and super will all charge at a rate that basically enables you (and encourages you) to use them freely. This makes everything move at a much more hectic pace, and every fight is a spectacle.

Once again we also have the Zero Hour modifier active, which means you basically have no time to do anything except run through the strikes as fast as possible. Do not engage small groups of enemies if you don't have to, because once the timer starts ticking down, there's no way to add to it. You hvae a set amount of time to complete this strike.

That's it for this update, folks! While it's annoying that the Exodus Crash bug hasn't been squashed, in the end, we got a much better Nightfall Strike out of it. Go out there and blast through the Pyramidion!
