Destiny 2

Next week is a pretty big one for PC gamers, as Destiny 2 will finally be available for the platform, bringing with it the most technical performance to date – provided that your laptop/gaming desktop are up to spec, that is.

And Bungie has a lot planned for the PC version of the game following its release. The developer recently updated what it's going to release for the first few weeks, starting with the first day of content, with more following.

Perhaps the most noteworthy thing is the launch of the Leviathan raid, which was previously made available to console gamers a little while back. It'll be introduced to the PC version of the game on November 1st, though only in normal difficulty. Bungie did note that hard difficulty would be available at a later time, so you'll have to wait for your challenge.

As far as what else is coming, according to the chart below, Nightfall Normal Mode, Nightfall Prestige Mode and Nightfall Guided Games will all be available at the same time as the game on October 24th. The second week, we'll be getting the Leviathan Raid on November 1st, followed by the start of Trials of the Nine on Friday, November 3rd. Finally, for the third week, we'll be getting the Raid in Prestige Mode, followed by Raid Guided Games, for those that need more assistance.

Destiny 2

This is just the beginning of Destiny 2's content for PC, as Bungie no doubt has even more plans in store through the holiday season, since its sequel will be one of the biggest sellers on the Battle.net service. We'll keep you informed of what's planned in the weeks and months ahead as soon as we find out.

For the time being, you can count the days to the game's release on PC, as it'll be available starting on October 24th at 1 PM EDT. While that seems like an odd time for arrival, that means you'll have the whole day to soak in the fun, whether you're playing alone or with friends.

Destiny 2 is already available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
