Gears Of War 4 Will Look Pretty Amazing On Xbox One X

There's a lot of good content on the way for Gears of War 4, including a handful of Halloween festivities, an all new map for multiplayer, and more. But perhaps the thing that a lot of players are looking forward to is the update that will make the game look better than ever on Xbox One X. Today, Microsoft unleashed a new trailer that provides a glimpse of just what kind of improvements we're in for.

The update, which will be available on November 7th and provided free of charge, will enable Gears of War 4 to run smoother than ever on Microsoft's enhanced hardware. This includes delivering a "true 4K experience" with a number of pushes, including HDR, wide contrast ratio and color accuracy, and, more importantly, a boost in frame rate, up to 60 frames per second when performance mode is selected.

That's not all. The game will also feature Dolby Atmos 3D audio, enhanced light shafts, dynamic shadows, increased draw distance, superior reflections and enhanced character textures. And you thought it looked great on Windows PC and Xbox One S before.
