Destiny 2 has gotten a jump on season 2's festivities with the release of the shooter's first expansion: Curse of Osiris. With a new storyline alongside Ikora, there is also a plethora of additional post-campaign content coming to the MMO to freshen things up a bit.

Anyone who is familiar with how MMOs work, most know that the grind is gold. Constantly chugging along to get the best of the best gear, compete in online events, and more. When Bungie first announced "Eater of Worlds," the first Raid Lair event coming to the shooter, players were interested to see what they are going to have to do in order to get the new gear drops. Though the event itself isn't as challenging as say the Leviathan Raid, it still is an event that will take skill and teamwork.

According to a new Twitter post, we now know exactly when the new event will kick off:

Recommended light levels are 300+, though the event itself is significantly shorter than Leviathan. Still, Bungie has hammered in that the Destiny sequel is rooted in team-work, and the Raid Lair events will be no different. The entire point of Raid Lair is to bring a new experience, new puzzles, new loot drops, and more. It will also provide a breath of fresh air for those looking towards new places to explore.

Destiny 2 is out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC - with Curse of Osiris available now.
