'Breath of the Wild' Among Nominees for Game Developers Choice Awards 2018

Today, the organizers of the 18th Annual Game Developers Choice Awards announced the full list of nominees for 2018, including big-name releases such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and indie franchises like What Remains of Edith Finch. Split into a total of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Horizon Zero Dawn currently both boast six nominations each, with other familiar names like Cuphead dotting the list throughout.

The Game of the Year category sees nominees that have taken home plenty of prizes over the past year, including PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Nier: Automata, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Super Mario Odyssey. The Game Developers Choice Awards, hosted by Professor Robin Hunicke, are set to take place on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 6:30pm, during the 2018 Game Developers Conference. No word on an official live stream has been announced just yet.
