The second open beta for Dragon Ball FighterZ is scheduled to begin later this month, and Bandai Namco has shared the full character roster for the demo along with additional details.

Planned to become available for everyone across all confirmed consoles on Jan. 14 with the second beta running until Jan. 16, the testing period will include 11 different playable characters. Players who participated in the first beta phase will recognize some of the characters as they return for more battles, but there are also some new additions to the lineup. Kid Buu, Adult Gohan, Nappa, and Beerus are all characters that were announced previously and will also be available in the upcoming beta.

Shared through Bandai Namco's Twitter account, the second beta includes the following fighters:

  • Goku
  • Vegeta
  • Adult Gohan
  • Frieza
  • Kid Buu
  • Cell
  • Piccolo
  • Krillin
  • Nappa
  • Android 18
  • Beerus

Alongside the full character roster for the final beta that players will be able to participate in before the game releases later in the month, Bandai Namco also shared more details about the available fighting stages and the game modes that'll be available. Recognizable venues such as Planet Namek, the World Tournament Arena, and the Cell Games Arena will all be playable in the beta.

Game modes like the World Match, Battle Tutorial, and Replay Channel are self-explanatory for those familiar with the fighting games, but the "2 Dramatic Scenes" that are included are also something to look out for. These scenes allow players to experience some of the most iconic moments from the anime and manga whenever you fulfill certain conditions in battles such as choosing the right characters for your team and facing off against fitting opponents.

Those who have already preordered the game on the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will also be able to participate in the beta ahead of everyone else beginning on Jan. 13. Dragon Ball FighterZ launches shortly after the beta on Jan. 26 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
