Latest WWE 2K18 Patch Fixes Deleted Universe Issue, General Bug Tweaks

The latest WWE 2K18 patch is now live on PlayStation 4 Xbox One, and PC and though it may be small, it addresses a few big issues. Many players were reporting that they weren't able to delete superstars because of a "tied to deleted universes" issue. In addition to that big fix, some general bugs were addressed to make the gameplay experience overall smoother.

Here's what's different:

• Fixed an issue that prevented users from deleting CAS tied to deleted Universes.
• Fixed an issue that caused PPV stars to be lost when losing internet connection
• Fixed an issue resulting in barricade piece appearing in the middle of the ring in Create-A-Video
• There are also various other general bug fixes throughout the game.

The team over at 2K also mentioned that a third patch will be going live on the Nintendo Switch on Thursday, January 25th. The Switch update will be a "catch up" patch to get the hybrid console's version up to speed with the other three platforms.

As far as "various other general bug fixes" go, the extent of what was addressed hasn't been revealed. Many players are frustrated with this verbage, which is understandable when wanting to know if the individual issues are being addressed. Still, the little information provide above does address the bigger complaints and we can hope that the team further listens to their player base.
