Master Chief Is Now on the Nintendo Switch, and We're Freaking Out

Master Chief is finally coming to the Nintendo Switch! OK, so no - it's not a new Halo game but it still is the iconic Xbox character, albeit in a more blockier form that we are used to.

The team behind Minecraft have just revealed all of the new content coming to the popular building title, including a newly released Moana character pack, and it's all available right now! "Arriving on new versions of Minecraft and Nintendo Wii U and Switch editions is the exceedingly popular Skin Pack 1! The pack contains various feudal favourites from the Fable series - queens, kings, wizards and warriors - and a slew of heroes from across the world of gaming, like Master Chief, Banjo, Cole Train, 'Splosion Man and others."

In addition to the fan favourites of the gaming world joining the Nintendo Switch version of Minecraft, the reveal of the Moana cast was also revealed via a brand new trailer seeing them in action against creepers, braving the open waters, and more.

"The Moana Character Pack features an intrepid crew of Pacific islanders, the shapeshifting demigod Maui, a giant gold-grabbing crab, coconut-clad pirates, watery apparitions, volcanic demons and other denizens of the deep. You can even play as a lethally stupid chicken. Have a look at the folks found in the pack below, or head straight to Marketplace to reel them in quickly."

Minecraft is a game about placing blocks and going on adventures. Explore randomly-generated worlds and build amazing things from the simplest of homes to the grandest of castles. Play in Creative Mode with unlimited resources or mine deep into the world in survival mode, crafting weapons and armour to fend off the dangerous mobs.
