If you're an actor tapped for one of Marvel Studios' films, you best celebrate. And, if you happen to be Donald Glover, then you also get to have a great time on set. The actor recently spoke at a TCA panel about his work on Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming, telling press he loved working on the film.

"It's really great," he said. "I had a really great time on that set. Jon's doing a really good job as a director. It was really fun to be home."

The Atlanta native was no doubt excited for a homecoming following a few very busy years. Glover, who is well-known for his acting career, also spends much of his time working as a popular comedian. And all that's doesn't even mention Glover's musical interests as the actor works as a Grammy-winning rapper under the name Childish Gambino.

Currently, Spider-Man: Homecoming is filming in Atlanta, and the film's cast hasn't been shy about giving fans updates on the project. As for Glover, the work probably felt a little familiar as he previously voiced Miles Morales in a few Ultimate Spider-Man episodes. It was actually Glover's work on the show that led fans to champion his involvement with a live-action Spider-Man film in the first place. Some might remember a social media campaign from a couple years back which asked for Glover to be cast as Spider-Man before Andrew Garfield ultimately secured the role.

Talking about his fans' support, Glover said, "[The buzz] was kind of an accident. I really wasn't out there trying to do that. I feel like the Internet did that. It was cool because now I get to see from the inside a lot of that stuff, which is kind of all you can ask for as a fan."

And, when asked to look back on his expansive career, Glover told the press he's proud, "that I'm still able to make things that I really care about. I know a lot of people that don't have that luxury...We're not here forever. Most people on their deathbed are like, 'I wish I had spent more time with my family' or 'I wish I had done what I wanted to do.' I don't want to have either of those on my head."

Glover's next appearance will be seen in the TV show Atlanta that's set to air on FX in September. As for Spider-Man: Homecoming, fans will see the actor star in the superhero flick next July.
