Many fans suspect the upcoming Wolverine sequel to be centered around the popular Old Man Logan storyline seen in the comics, but after a new photo surfaced of actor Hugh Jackman, fans are hopeful for reasons beyond their love of the original series alone.
Jackman recently posted a new photo to Instagram showing the actor with a fresh catch of fish, and in it, he's looking a bit rough around the edges. Not in the typically Wolverine way either, but more in an almost sickly way. The photo has sparked spirited debate on social media as to whether he is in failing health or if it is just make up for his upcoming Wolverine sequel.
Adding more credence to the movie magic theory is his recent appearance at the premiere of Eddie the Eagle, where he looked nothing like the weary fellow we see in the post, so a safe bet is that the grey in his beard, the short hair, and the rough skin is part of the film (via Clyde1).
Still, Jackman has fought skin cancer five times in the last two years, so he does have a history with the condition. Hopefully, it is just for his upcoming part, and here is to seeing a healthier looking Jackman very soon.
