It's no secret that Marvel Studios casts their superheroes well. From Chris Evans to Scarlett Johansson, the MCU is filled with actors who bring justice to their respective roles both on and off screen. Just earlier today, Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston reminded fans they also stand amongst Marvel's impressive line-up and proved themselves worthy by https://www.cinemablend.com/news/1548690/thor-and-loki-bringing-a-mighty-hammer-to-sick-kids-will-melt-your-marvel-heart a children's hospital in Brisbane.

The pair took a break from shooting Thor: Ragnarok and visited the hospital dressed in plain street clothes. Donning their character's wigs, the actors visited more than eighty children and even brought along Mjolnir to surprise several small fans. While no one can confirm if Tom was seen carrying's Chris' mighty weapon, one pair of siblings surely surprised even themselves when they managed to life Mjolnir. The kids' older sibling took to Twitter to thank the actors for making their family's day and shared some photos of the legendary encounter.

Unsurprisingly, it seems like Chris and Tom were keen on keeping their visit a quiet affair. The only press outlet who covered the story on-site was Juiced TV, a show that's produced by patients at the children's hospital. The duo shot footage for the show alongside a couple of patients, no doubt praising all of the kids' bravery.

Of course, the two aren't the first superheroes to visit sick patients. Other stars like Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Tom Holland, and Chris Pratt have all visited children's hospitals in the past to thank fans. Recently, Robert created headlines when a photo of him video-chatting with a sick teen went viral after the actor visited the patient in person earlier this year.

And, what's more, Chris and Tom weren't even the first celebrities to visit Brisbane's Lady Cilento Children's Hospital this year. A few weeks ago, pop superstar Taylor Swift took time to visit patients there. Johnny Depp has also come by the hospital in full-costume from Captain Jack Sparrow. The visit occurred while Depp was filming Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

After their visit, it's likely that Chris and Tom were ushered back on set as Thor: Ragnarok continues filming in Queensland's capital. Just yesterday, fans flooded the city's streets to watch the actors film a few scenes on what appears to be a New York-themed set. Fans watched as the duo took selfies with extras and even noticed Thor sporting a 'LOKI R.I.P.' tattoo. And, earlier today, actor Anthony Hopkins was spotted on set as a very frumpy looking Odin.

Thor: Ragnarok is set to hit theaters on November 3rd 2017.
