Agents Of SHIELD: Behind The Scenes Of Ghost Rider Vs. Lola

The Ghost Riders charger might be more intimidating, but don't count out Phil Coulson's beloved ride Lola. Lola might not have tires of fire, but last time we checked Ghost Rider couldn't fly, so let's call it even.

In the latest edition of Chasing The Rider, a behind the scenes feature series for Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, stunt coordinator Tanner Gill describes the process of creating the high octane chance between Coulson and Ghost Rider, a chase many have wanted to see ever since Ghost Rider was announced.

"It starts with a tech scout. We actually go out to the location and we take a look at what the streets are like, what the driveways are like, what the natural environment is, and then we come up with ways to augment that with the action. So we got out there and took a look at it and found the right corner for our charger to make a big hard left and then we set up some traffic in a near miss configuration so cars are coming at the charger. It's veering away and they're veering away."

Oncoming cars weren't enough of an obstacle, though, so they stuck another one in the duo's way, a task they handled in extremely different ways.

"We came up with the idea if the truck is backing in, it just gives enough room for the charger to get around the back of it, but here comes Lola. Lola's on the run and Clark drives it right underneath her.

Fans will see more of Robbie Reyes and his struggle to contain the Ghost Rider in next week's Lockdown episode. The official descript is located below.

Marvel's Agents of SHIELD stars Clark Gregg (Agent Phil Coulson), Ming-Na Wen (Agent Melinda May), Chloe Bennet (Daisy Johnson), Iain De Caestecker (Agent Leo Fitz), Elizabeth Henstridge (Agent Jemma Simmons), and Henry Simmons (Agent Alphonso "Mack" MacKenzie).

This season the cast has expanded to include guest stars Jason O'Mara (Director Jeffrey Mace), Gabriel Luna (Robbie Reyes), Parminder Nagra (Senator Nadeer), Maximilian Osinski (Agent Davis), Patrick Cavanaugh (Burrows), Jose Zuniga (Eli Morrow), Kerr Smith (Joseph Bauer), James Edson 9Warden Green), and Ricardo Walker (Agent Prince).

Marvel's Agents of SHIELD airs on ABC Tuesday's at 9 p.m. Lockdown airs on Tuesday, October 25.
