Chris Pratt & Zoe Saldana On Star Lord & Gamora's Relationship

Throughout Guardians Of The Galaxy, Star-Lord and Gamora had an interesting relationship to say the least. Quill seemed to be all-about Gamora, while she didn't really want much to do with him.
By the end of the movie though, it looked like she had warmed up to him quite a bit. Gamora even showed off her dance moves, proving that she had learned something from the outlaw.
During a visit to the Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 set, some members of the media asked the Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana how the relationship between their characters has been developing since the first film.
According to Pratt, they're still in that place of uncertainty, but it's a little more drastic in the second movie.
"I kind of feel like that was there in the first movie as well, you know what I mean? I think any time you take a man and a woman in a movie that are both in a lead position and you put them in the same room, there's naturally going to be this question of will they or won't they, you know what I mean? I think that's pretty inevitable. Unless you really clearly illustrate that either they're brother and sister, or that one of them isn't into that type of thing, or whatever it is. If you have two characters of the opposite sex, it always seems like you're just waiting for them to collide. And so that is dealt with a little more in this version of the movie. And again, we didn't wanna go back and do exactly what we did in the first movie, so it steps up a little bit."
Will they, or won't they? Saldana seems to think that maybe their only good together as teammates, but not so good as a couple.
"They're becoming a really good team. In the way that like oil and vinegar are. Where it's good together, it tastes good together. But they tend to still stick to their own things. And I think Peter may have gotten a little more annoying. And Gamora's just a little too rigid sometimes. So through the dynamics that are happening around her, she learns to relax."
That last sentence gives fans a little hope, as it seems like Gamora could be changing a bit more, due in part to Quills friendship and "pelvic sorcery".
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on May 5, 2017.
