As the Marvel Cinematic Universe evolves, it's no secret that music has become a large part of the progression of both Marvel film and television projects. In Guardians of the Galaxy, Peter Quill's Awesome Mix Vol. 1 set the mood while hip hop artists from Method Man to Jidenna were featured on Luke Cage.

And now thanks to a recent interview with actor Benedict Cumberbatch and Collider, we now know what music one might see on the playlists of Doctor Stephen Strange.

"It would be an awesome mixtape, I should get Scott on to that, definitely. Oh, I don't know, I mean, there's lots of stuff I listen to which he may, he may listen to. I think, you know, Radiohead would feature, Elbow. I'm just mentioning all my favorite bands," Cumberbatch reflected. "No, I mean, if he can go from Chuck Mangione to Pink Floyd, I think you're covering a lot of bases. It would be a very, very interesting time as a DJ. And why not? Why not?"

With Strange and Quill both slated to appear in Avengers: Infinity War and its sequel, Cumberbatch thinks a mixtape exchange wouldn't be that bad of an idea.

"That is a great idea. That is a great idea," replied Cumberbatch. "Both Star-Lord and Strange have quite a lot of music going on in their worlds."
Doctor Strange is currently available on digital HD and will be released on Blu-ray February 28.
