The Georgia Archives — perhaps better known around these parts as the set piece that served as the headquarters of Pym Technologies in Ant-Man — is scheduled for demolition on Sunday, March 5 at 7:00 a.m. Eastern.

Once opened in 1965, the Archives served as the primary repository of archival records for the State of Georgia. When a new facility was opened in 2003 to house the state's records, the building often referred to as the "White Ice Cube" was shuttered for official use.

After its closure, the building was used a set piece in a handful of movie projects — the building was used as the Pym Technologies headquarters in Ant-Man while the interior was used as the offices of fictional TV station GNN in Anchorman 2.

While the building was destroyed by a rapidly enlarging tank that Hank Pym had shrunk and kept on his keychain thanks to the technology he developed in Ant-Man, demolition experts are slated to use upwards of 500 pounds of explosives in Sunday's demolition.

Ant-Man director Peyton Reed took to Twitter to pay his final respects to the building as he shared a link to a web page that will hold a live stream of the demolition tomorrow morning.

The sequel to Ant-Man, Ant-Man and the Wasp, is scheduled to hit theaters on July 8, 2018 with Peyton Reed slated to return as director.
