In an interview with Brazilian entertainment site CinePOP, Tom Holland and his co-star Laura Harrier, who plays Liz Allan discussed their visit to São Paulo to promote the July release of their film Spiderman: Homecoming.

Tom Holland talked about what a dream it was to get to play the iconic Marvel character Spider-man: You know, it's a dream come true, I've wanted to be Spiderman since I was a little kid and now it's actually becoming a reality. Even after Civil War it didn't feel... real... but now it's finally hitting me, it's not actually a dream and I can't quite believe it's coming true.

Laura Harrier discussed more about her character, Liz. Peter Parker and Liz get to know eachother by being on an academic team together - but Liz is "really academic, and driven and ambitious...kind of that girl in school that is doing a million things and a head of every committee."

They also delved into the comicbook characters that Holland's Spidey would like to go up against in the next standalone Spider-Man film.

CinePOP: Which villain would you like to fight in the sequel?

Holland: There's so many good villains, I really like Mysterio, I like Kraven. I really like the clone saga. I think it could be really cool if Peter, or Spider-Man has to fight people with the same powers as him. Spiderwoman's super cool... I think she's called SpiderGirl who is his clone. They kind of like hit it off and they take their masks off and they're like... [shocked look] What the hell! They're like the same person, but she's just a girl. I think that's really cool.

CinePOP also pitched the idea of Spider-man coming to Brazil in future films. Spider-man wouldn't be the first Marvel character to visit of course, The Incredible Hulk hid out in Rio. Holland was excited over the idea, "Yeah that'd be awesome... we'd have to figure out a reason why Spider-man was in São Paulo, but if we could get him here..."

Spider-man: Homecoming is currently scoring an anticipated rating of 4.13 out of 5. That's a number 8 on the all time ratings.
