Japanese collectibles company Kaiyodo has revealed new photos of their upcoming Wolverine Revoltech action figure and it may be the Wolverine figure that most captures the character's spirit from the Marvel Comics universe so far.
Revoltech uses "Revolver Technology," or "Revolver Joints," to give their action figures an increased range of motion while maintaining stability.
This increased mobility and stability allow the Revoltech Wolverine figure, based on the photos below, to recreate poses previously only achievable on a comic book age.
The Figure Complex Amazing Yamaguchi Revoltech Wolverine figure stands over 6 inches tall and decked out in Logan's bright blue and yellow costume from Joss Whedon and John Cassaday's Astonishing X-Men series. The figure has 33 points of articulation and three interchangeable head pieces, as well as several interchangeable hand pieces allowing fans to swap between Wolverine's extended adamantium claws and his cigar. The figure also comes with a stand that helps achieve the most dynamic poses possible and a slash special effect accessory.
The Revoltech Wolverine figure will release in September 2017. It will be priced in Japan at 5,900 Yen, which converts to roughly $53 in the United States.
