According to Entertainment Weekly, Disney XD is set to debut a series of animated shorts, focusing on Scott Lang's Ant-Man. The shorts are set to premiere on the network on June 10 & 11.
Lang was made famous in 2015, when Paul Rudd brought the character to life in Ant-Man from Marvel Studios. In the new animated shorts, Josh Keaton will provide the voice for Lang.
The announcement noted that Lang would fight alongside the Wasp and mentor Hank Pym, while his daughter Cassie will also have a prominent role.
This is the second round of Marvel shorts to air on Disney XD, following a series that focused on Rocket and Groot. Like those shorts, the six two-minute episodes will be animated by Passion Pictures, who also bring the music videos of Gorillaz to life.
