When Stan Lee appeared discussing his various appearances in Marvel projects with the Watchers in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, it cemented his status as the cameo king while providing an in-story reason for how it's possible.
Marvel Studios latest film established godfather Lee as an otherworldly being capable of making appearances across films, television shows, and video games. But now he adds another project to the long list: theme park attractions.
A few luck fans were able to get the first glimpse of Disneyland's latest attraction and first ride with a Marvel Universe theme at the dedication ceremony for Guardians Of The Galaxy—Mission: Breakout!
Instagram user englishpauliewaulie was one of those lucky people able to attend the dedication and go on the ride at Disney's California Adventure theme park, where they viewed an awesome cameo from Lee as a part of the Collector's collection.

Lee looks to be imprisoned by the Collector, but really that's no big deal for a being of vast cosmic power such as him. The cameo is a neat addition to the lobby of the attraction, where people waiting in line can soak in all of the different items in the Collector's possession.
Disney theme park attractions tend to have amazing presentations, including the lines visitors have to wait in. Given how long people will stand in those, it's always great to see Disney's Imagineers go the extra mile. Mission: Breakout! took over the location of The Twilight Zone's Tower of Terror. While many purists were upset with Disney removing a beloved attraction in favor of a newer Marvel property, the new ride is sure to begin a lasting presence of superhero offerings from the Happiest Place On Earth.
If you can't make it to Disneyland right away, you can always go see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in theaters now.
